About this product

Product Information

Jack Vettriano emerged from the coal fields of Scotland, unknown and untutored, to become Scotland s most successful contemporary artist. Prints of his work outsell those of Van Gogh, Dali, and Monet, and his paintings have been acquired by celebrities around the world. This gorgeous monograph presents more than 30 new images, some earlier work never before seen, and a selection of the finest of Vettriano s previously published paintings."

  • A good overview

For anyone interested in more than Vettriano's most popular posters, this is a good general overview. Fully illustrated with many paintings not usually seen, the best aspect is the artist's own view and insight into his methods and thought process that go into each painting. The only drawback to this book is its small (7" x 8 3/4") format, which though excellently rendered, reduces the impact of the paintings. Overall, it would be a good first book on the artist and his work.

  • Great Book

I Love this Book! It’s in perfect condition and has all the best works by Mr. Vettriano- I’m keeping this volume in tact and purchasing another one to form my collage.
