    It is just the clamp

    Do not expect the mirracle. It is just the clamp. In some cases it may performs fine, but in most common cases heavy clamp performs better. And, by the way - "sticky" bottom collects dust.

    Good choice for an LP12

    I'd tried many weights (not clamps), both DIY (6) and purchased (3) on my LP12, with different materials and weight (between approx. 125g and 375g) over a few months. Although they do provide the musical plusses that they claim, on my LP12 they either suck some of the life out of the music, or make it sound a bit CD-ish. The Revolution Soft Clamp isn't a miracle or breath-taking, but it is so far the best compromise I have found for an LP12 (ie a suspended deck) that doesn't kill the mood. Despite what I've just said, I'm still pleased that I have it, and I have now concluded my experiment!
