    Fast, quiet, reliable, reasonably priced. Totally worth it.

    Excellent piece of electronics - fast, quiet, and reliable. The WD guys have indeed managed to amaze me once again with the quality of their technology products. Came at a very decent price, as well, so I'd strongly recommend it (or its larger "brothers") to anyone who's making a new hard drive purchase decision.

    awesome product! great value for the money, and it saved my laptop!

    After my laptop stop working I analyzed the problem and found out that the HDD stopped working. it's a 6 y/o laptop, and after using this HDD it works like a brand new. Although it's capacity is quite limited, he's fast and cheap, and for its purposes it works very well. recommended.

    SSD compromise

    I really wanted to upgrade to SSDs. Purchased the Scorpio Blacks based on cost benefit, comparative technical specs and consumer reviews to make a moderate upgrade for a Sony VAIO and a Dell Latitude D830. The Sony came with a very slow 500G HD of which I only used 47G. The Dell's original 60G HD worked great but was too small. Both laptops improved their Windows Primary Hard Disk performance scores by 2. Mission accomplished!

    WD1600BEKT (160 GB, Serial ATA II) Hard Drive

    Great packaging! Hard drive is very fast. Fits into most laptop HD bays, it was easy to install ans has performed great since i got!
