I was experiencing a buzzing, crackling sound from all four satellite speakers and both subwoofers. The instructions with the kit said to look out for a burnt trace from resistor R12 and the Zener diode, Z1. Sure enough, the trace was burnt. I replaced R12 and Z1 and jumpered the trace and my 25 year old speaker system is up and sounding great, again. Outstanding service and value.
