    President Snow long before he became President.

    If you are as interested in how President Snow became the man we saw in Katniss Everdeen's trilogy you're wait is over. Mostly, it covers a short period of time. Let Suzanne Collins take you back to Panem. We find an 18 year old Coriolanus Snow preparing for his part in the upcoming 10th Hunger Games. Reading this book fills in some of the why's and how's of the character. Most of what we know about the man is from the movies as he was barely featured in her book trilogy. Collins gives us HER take on this very interesting time of the young man's life. When I finished the book I wanted more. They may say the Hunger Games books are for 'young adults' but I say they're good for anyone older as well. She creates interesting characters and puts them into dangerous situations that they have to ...

    An amazing prequel to an amazing series

    This is an amazing book by an amazing writer! I got it last year for Christmas and since I knew my sister would love it, I decided to get a copy for my sister's birthday this year. The story is just as compelling as the original three books and had me reading until 3AM repeatedly because I just couldn't put it down. If you liked the original Hunger Games series, you will love this story of how Coriolanus Snow went from a teenager, trying to survive in the post-war world of Panem to the psychopathic dictator we all know and hate in Katniss' time.

    Collins is such a great author

    The story is so intersting especailly since its in the piont of Coriolanus. I was worried when I bought this book since it had quite a bit of mixed opinions, but I ended up loving the book! 6/5
