    Wonderful First Cookbook for Kids!

    This books is wonderful for any child who is interested in learning to cook. I ordered one for my kids and then ordered another one to give as a gift. My kids (ages 8 and 10) were immediately drawn to it, looking through and planning what they wanted to make. So far they've made French Toast Sticks and Snickerdoodles (both were good) and are planning their next one. The book has a colorful layout, the instructions are divided up into groups: Kitchen tools, ingredients and measurements, and then big words are used in each section of directions, like: Combine..., Blend..., Whisk..., Simmer..., Bake... to make it easy to find where you are in the recipe. One of the best Children's cookbooks I've seen!

    Entertaining and Educational Format

    Great step by step illustrated cookbook for kids. Has a lot of tips and misc. facts about the recipes. Recipes are simple and definitely recipes kids would like to eat and prepare. Graphics are very entertaining and would hold kids attention while preparing the recipes -- makes the cooking process appealing to kids. Although the recipes are simple, they definitely require adult supervision. Having said this, adults would find the recipes fun to prepare too. A great beginners cooking training tool for kids.
