This magnifying glass takes a little getting used to, mostly in adjusting how far to hold it away and at what angles, depending on what I'm hoping to see. The LED illumination is very helpful, especially when the object being viewed is dark or the environment's lighting is murky. It requires two AA batteries that do not come with the purchase. Came in a box inside a bubble-wrap envelope.

I've never had any like this I did have to contact the seller to ask how to turn off the blue light and they told me to just move the switch to the middle!!!! They (I bought 2 of them) are the most wonderful lighted magnifying glasses I've ever seen. I love them and they are wonderful to use. I'm so glad I bought 2 of them so I don't have to go from the dining room to the office and back. HA! I'm set now.
