Great drive, fastest 5400rpm I have. I would buy more: under $30 used!
This is the fastest 5400 RPM drive I have personally tested. I bought this drive used, in good working condition with no bad sectors. It does show a long history of corrected errors and faulty drive stops, usually indicating a hard life. It passed a full disk read/write and is currently active as live storage for a video encoder. The thermal sensor still works which is a plus and actually kind of rare among the used laptop drives I've seen lately.This is the fastest 5400 RPM drive I have personally tested. I bought this drive used, in good working condition with no bad sectors. It does show a long history of corrected errors and faulty drive stops, usually indicating a hard life.
