    Good value and excellent phone overall

    Phone is working great. The AMOLED screen is bright and sharp, and the phone is very thin and the metallic edge looks very cool. The refurbished phone has only a minor ding on the back cover which is hardly noticeable. The operating system is Lollipop (Android 5.0.2) which works fine. I am not sure if Samsung will ever release Marshmallow for this phone. There are three drawbacks: (1) The battery is new, but it lasts barely 24 hours and less under heavy use (a solution is to purchase a third-party high-capacity battery); (2) since it is an AT&T unlocked phone, it comes with uninstallable AT&T bloatware which is annoying, but you can prevent them from running in the background by disabling them in Settings- Application manager; (3) the touch screen sometimes becomes unresponsive for a ...

    Good phone but has one annoying flaw

    Sleek, great performance, removable battery a plus, good battery life, fast charging, nice materials but the software has one nagging problem. On the status bar in the notification area is the notification "connected to WiFi" when you're connected to WiFi. This notification CANNOT be turned off, which I confirmed with several Samsung technicians. Why? That's ridiculous. It's not needed and takes up screen space.

    Galaxy alpha

    I love this phone, I wanted something that was in the 4.7 range because I have a physical job and larger phones got in my way , this is perfect, I also wanted a more durable phone made from something besides plastic I love the metal frame.

    Decent product

    Light phone with lots of features, battery drains when you use apps, etc. but for basic functions such as phone calls and texting it will last you past the day. It does a weird thing though when it is below 40% and you try to do something like facebook, etc. it will turn off and back on repeatedly until you plug it in.
