Great construction and feels very durable. Wanted to have a smaller Ka Bar and this definitely sufficed
construction of this Knife is very sturdy and came with a very sharp edge and will continue to buy more Ka-Bar products based of of this knife I think im going to stick with Ka-Bar for any future fixed bladed knives. The only thing I would like to see different is more options for Sheaths. All sheaths I have found are full build that when trying to reach for the handle you also grab the sheath itself i would like to see a sheath that does not go full length to the handle something that goes to the hilt with a clip that goes over the hilt to hold it in.construction of this Knife is very sturdy and came with a very sharp edge and will continue to buy more Ka-Bar products based of of this knife I think im going to stick with Ka-Bar for any future fixed bladed knives. American made function and style
From a young age I have always loved ka-bar's . One the best blades in its price range for holding up over time. Its holds an edge and looks sharp when Included in your EDC . This model has a low viability and blends in well to the point that it is often overlooked .

full size V/S short
I carried the full size Kabar in the military and it served it purpose during that time. The short, however is more practical in the field while hunting. easier to work with field dressing a deer. Also, it seems the quality of the steel on the short is slightly better than the full size and seem to hold an edge better. But keep in mind their uses where entirely different given the times.
