    Tank Combat

    The Firefly was an upgunned Sherman tank. It was able to destroy Tiger tanks in battle but had the Sherman’s vulnerability. After detailed background, this book describes a Sherman/Firefly encounter at the Falaise gap. It helps our understanding of tank combat in WW II.
