directions & quality not good enough
the directions are pretty worthless and I used pictures to assemble the stand. It has some issues with precision and tightness. I'd pay double for a better made stand if available.

Good value for the money
I replaced the plastic pivot bushings with properly sized bronze bushings! This made a big improvement to the stability of the pivoting mechanism. I also added positive locking jam nuts to lock the angle grinder into proper alignment, along with better washers in the grinder adjustment slots. Finally I machined the casting draft off of the vise jaws. I added a small"V" to the movable jaw & used larger headed cap screws to further improve the vise! This grinder will be permanently mounted to make this a mini chop saw! Needs some modifications
The top and bottom adjusting screws & nuts were missing and the instructions are very minimal. The unit is ok for the price, but it's not of the highest quality. I'm not sure how the blade guard even attaches (I think a part is missing). My grinder already has a blade guard so that is what I used. The mechanism for holding the work is not very good. The screw binds and does not work smoothly. The cast base is nice and heavy, and the other cast parts are fairly good.
