About this product

Product Information

The '67 Camaro was a big leap into the pony-car market for Chevrolet. The first- and second-generation Camaros turned out to be more than just Chevy's answers to the Mustang v they are two of the best-looking muscle cars ever. With convertibles and hardtops, RS, SS, and Z-28 models, it's no wonder why the Camaro has remained an enthusiast favorite all these years. In Chevrolet Camaro 1967-1972, author William Burt uses over 250 color photos to show you all about the Camaro. He devotes a chapter to each Camaro model year, from its debut it 1967 to the beginning of the emissions era in 1972. All the RS, SS, Z-28 Camaros, along with their 302-, 327-, 350-ci small-block and 396-, 427-, and 454-ci big-blocks are covered in detail. • The title pretty much sums it up.

I am mainly a lover of the original '67-'69 Camaro & have been hard pressed to find a decent publication just covering those years in detail. The books that cover Camaro up into the 2000s just don't have enough info or pics of these great cars. Although this book includes the '70, '71 & '72 cars too, it has plenty of early info as there is a chapter on each of the years of cars. I even enjoyed the info & pics on the early '70s cars and learned a lot I did not know about them. They too were a classic line all their own & had some great options. Each page is full of color pics and info on a multitude of factory options and some dealer ops as well. I'll have to say I was disappointed that they didn't cover the "Baldwin Motion" dealer ops or the "Yenko", but everything else is well ...

  • Chevrolet Camaro 1967 to 1972 (2006)

I am into first generation Camaros, mainly 1968. I am restoring one. The pictures & write ups help a great deal.
