After assembly and futzing around with the firmware, I was able to get the printer functioning. Only issues/disappointments were: the x-axis belt tensioner was from an earlier model (3 or 3 Pro) and not the upgraded V2 adjustable knob tensioner; and the hot end cover/fan holder was broken, but still usable (kind of falls apart when removing it from its snap-in position). Not a big deal as I plan on replacing it anyway. All in all, can't complain much getting a functioning V2 for $90 + tax.

Everything functions fine, few scuffs but insignificant. Someone tried upgrading the board to v4.2.7 and failed flashing the firmware is all. 5 minute fix...too bad I'm just using a few parts from it since it was such a great deal.

Seller let me know this printer was delayed and kindly cancelled this sale and I purchased an Ender 3 S1 instead. The S1 arrived with a broken sd card slot (someone probably jammed it in upside down). The S1 was in otherwise decent condition. Overall an ok deal but consider your spare parts when picking a model to order…unfortunately my spare motherboards are the older style and will not fit lol.

I knew I was taking a risk buying an un-repaired printer, and it took some work and troubleshooting to figure it out, but two days later and about $15 in parts I am up and printing. It was in the OEM box and looked like someone got it as a Christmas present but they couldn’t get it working. It wouldn’t power up but I got it figured out in about 5 minutes after checking with a multimeter. Everything is in good shape and perfect for my new Ender 3 NG project. A+ would buy again from this seller. I love refurbishing Ender 3 units!
