    Came in as advertised. Fit the Meade DS 2000 just fine. Focuser tube operates as it should. Only thing is the tube was a touch (meaning mere thousandths of an inch) larger in diameter from the original tube. Does not affect the operation at all. Just won’t be able to screw original eye piece adapter on to this new one. Truly not a big deal since it already has the eye piece adapter on it. I was just messing around with it. Again works great, came in as advertised and quick AA+++ EBayer.

    Excellent, it was exactly what i needed. It was suprisingly hard to find this part! Don't forget to move over your barlow lens if your old one came with it. If you are moving your barlow lense over: the internal diameter was just slightly larger than expected but you can make it snug with electrical tape around the barlow lens. It slid into place perfectly. Will eventually replace the tape with proper glue but was a quick fix.

    Quick response to questions and quick shipping. This drawtube comes with a 1-1/4 eyepiece top. I’m using this on a Meade 4501 Newtonian garage sale special to replace the plastic drawtube and 0.965 eyepiece top. The 1-1/4” opening is a little too tight but can be enlarged slightly with 220 grit sandpaper wrapped around a 35mm film canister. Do one twist and check fit… one twist, check… one twist, check. Don’t hog it out because you can’t put the plastic back.
