Good pads but......
These are better than the stock pads that are on the machine. They are grooved to remove dust and water from the surface. What should have been maybe a 10 minute job per side ends up being a lot longer as the pad are too thick and you cant get the drums back over them. This will lead you to releasing the brake lever mechanism off the pin between the pads to allow them to come in closer (the lever is on the outside of the inner part of the dust shield - your brake line cable connects to it). This in itself can a PITA. Once you got pads as close as you can you will still not get the drum over them. You need to lightly sand the pad surfaces. (you should definitely wear a mask - a lot of brake dust) The metal parts of the pads line up exactly with the factory original parts, it is just ... For me this took about 20 tries (per wheel), on and off and trying to get the drum over them to turn without rubbing. With each try you can see if you have any high spots left as they get rubbed by the drum. Knock the high points down and eventually you will get there. Once you get that worked out and the drum spins freely, you can give the brake lever a pull, check them one more time and if ok then button them up. I did both fronts, even though I also bought the rears and wanted to change them I didn't have the time to go through the labor of making them work. Maybe another time. I can say that once I got it all pulled together, I took it for a test drive and they work fantastic and evenly pulled on each tire. I can say the stopping distance is way better. Now to tackle the rears some day.
