    Sit still and behave.... NOT

    I found this book to be EXTREMELY insightful in understanding the nature of boys. It validates my personal experiences working with young men. I hope that all teachers, particularly elementary and middle school teachers, read this book to help them understand... 1. How to reach the boy in their class who just cannot sit still, 2. How to restructure class lessons, test questions, and discussions to promote positive reactions/responses from boys and young men, and 3. How ADHD drugs may be the answer to the wrong question. This book is a must for the gender from Venus to help understand the adolescent gender from Mars.

    If you work with boys or have a son, read this book!

    I work in an elementary school setting and can honestly say, this book should be required reading for all of us! It presents thought-provoking theories as to why our boys seem to be struggling in so many ways, presented in a straight-forward, easy to understand format. I have read many books on the subject. What sets Boys Adrift apart is it's concentrated focus on the common issues observed across all socio-economic levels.

    Boys Adrift

    I read the book for a book group. It is an excellent book. Every, principal, teacher, and parent should read this book.
