Excellent Trucker Computer!
I am no expert on Chromebooks, but have two different makes/models, the other is a more expensive Acer, but believe it or not, I prefer this Asus! It's VERY thin and light, and is pretty darned fast in my opinion! I love that it has 4GB RAM too! I have no problem with battery life, but I also have a 500W Power inverter in the truck, and this guy only uses 24 watts! I have been using mine now for a few weeks, and honestly, I have nothing to complain about! I added a 32GB Sandisk MicroSD card to it as well, no problems there either! I personally recommend this particular Chromebook! I like it enough to have bought a 2nd one! :) EDITED TO ADD: WARNING! After messing with extensions/apps from the "Chrome Store"? I had browser/OS crash problems with my gmail account, BUT created a new gmail ... Amazing battery life, light weight
I got this as a tool for writing a series of books after lugging around a laptop for months. This Chromebook lasts me all day and much of the night on one change, recharges in two hours, and is like carrying a legal pad in weight. I have no regrets. Able to use my Google Drive with Google Docs to keep my manuscript current on all my devices and to my reviewers and editor.

Good supplementary netbook
Firstly, I did not purchase this item to serve as my main computing device. It serves very well for lightweight computing, and online tasks. It does struggle rendering some online interactive windows (Possibly flash?), but it excels at what it's intended to do. It works very well as a lightweight companion to my beefier Dell Latitude.
