Here's an idea...supply longer screws and a metal / plastic member spanning between the two screws to give it more stability??

They are close in size and design so I figured it would work and it did. While it did require a bit of modification on the front sides and top. 5 min of my time with a needle file did the trick and saved me a good amount of money compared to the brand named alternatives out there. Stock screws on the clip were long enough to firmly secure the guard to the radio. Would strongly recommend this to anyone looking to carry a radio.
