Step aboard the remote space station Deep Space Nine in this action-adventure based on the syndicated television series set within the Star Trek universe. Help Commander Benjamin Sisko solve multiple missions spanning eight chapters, from finding explosives planted by Bajoran terrorists to saving the outpost from the Cardassians. Use your phaser to stun enemies and tricorder to locate important items -- all while keeping an eye on your health.<br><br>As you explore different sectors of the station, you'll meet with several characters from the series, including Odo, Quark, Kira, Lieutenant Jadzia Dax, Dr. Julian Bashir, and Chief Miles O'Brien. Making contact with these individuals is important, since each crew member will have information that can help in completing your objectives. You'll even be able to leave Deep Space Nine and pilot the Federation starship Runabout! The game also features authentic backgrounds and music lifted right from the television show.

    SNES Star Trek: Deep Space 9 Review

    To be honest I thought this game would be better. To be fair though I haven't played it all that much yet. The main reason I purchased this is because I am a huge Star Trek fan and wanted it for my collection. So far the gameplay is slow and labored, and the level layout/design is somewhat confusing. The characters don't talk, so you have to read everything. It also seems you have to do many small tasks to achieve minimal objectives. I played this for about 5 minutes and found myself bored with it. For the SNES though, it does a pretty good job on the visuals and control scheme. The story premise seems decent enough for the game, but it might take a truly hardcore fan to want to play this to the end.

    Perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    This is perfect as it will start to complete my collection of playmate items. All I need now is the mail away sisko 4.5 inch playmate figure to finish this set. It is in perfect shape better than brand new.

    good game

    this is a good ds9 game the one on sega i never could quite like so hopefully i will like this one but overall most star trek games are fun (if your a trekkie) so i would recommend it
