Fortunately they fit but they are definitely not 4E's which was even stated by a professional which is cutting them down from 8 inch to 6 inch. He showed me a pair of 2E's straight from Thorogood & they matched perfectly which I purchased also while he is doing the repairs. They were marked 4E so the seller is not at fault & can be stretched professionally. 4E Thorogoods are no more hints why I purchased these in the 8 inch knowing I had to pay a professional cobbler to repair them to 6 inch.
