Super Smash Bros. Brawl is so fun!
So, if you haven’t heard of Super Smash Bros. Brawl, you’ve probably been living under a rock somewhere in the wilds of Africa. Simply put- this is unarguably the most anticipated game this year. For those of you not in the loop, Brawl is the third installment in the Super Smash Bros. series. Basically, the games are devoted to uniting Nintendo’s most iconic and historically significant characters for a fighting game where they can brawl it out to see who’s the best. Brawl takes that to the next level. But with its predecessor, Super Smash Bros. Melee, being considered one of the greatest games of all time, can Brawl live up to its own hype? For the sake of those who are still waiting on their copy (I feel for you), I will avoid spoilers in this review.So, if you haven’t heard of Super Smash Bros. Under the direction of series creator Masahiro Sakurai, Super Smash Bros. Brawl will feature classic, GameCube-style combat -- not Wii-style motion-controlled combat. That means players who prefer to play the game with the traditional control setup can look forward to using the GameCube control-style they're already accustomed to. "We found that trying to implement too much motion-sensory functionality can get in the way of the game. We're looking at keeping the control simple, as it has been," said Sakurai. "The Wii hardware has sockets for the GameCube controller, too. So I'll just say now that you may not want to throw away your GCN controller yet." The game also features a range of new nasty toys, such as the ability to unleash a puppy from Nintendogs that will run up to the screen, ... Mario, Kirby, Pikachu and Link have been confirmed as returning characters. Sakurai confirmed that Wario actually has a fart attack and that Solid Snake can use his trusty cardboard box. I bought this for my friend, because I was crying over spilt milk. (I spilled milk on her SSBB guide that comes with the game). I decided to buy this one instead. I read through it for the character I always use: Ike. I already knew a lot of the things, but I learned techniques. It's a very helpful guide I believe if you want to get the most out of characters, especially the ones you play often.
