I chose neutral because eBay would not allow negative without consulting seller. Two emails have gone ignored. The seller overcharged for shipping. He charged $16CAN, but when the book arrived it had stamps on the envelope that totalled only $4.40CAN.. I deserrve a tefund. Book also not in stated condition. There is significant water damage omitted in sellers description n. According to eBay's criteria water damage means acceptable. Experience was negative. Do not do business with thiis seller.

Not as good as expected
This book was recommended to me by a friend who is a fellow avid reader. I had never seen the movie, so had no idea what to expect. I must admit the characters were very believeable and I felt almost as if I knew them personally. This made the book very realistic in some ways. But the book had many shortcomings that disturbed me. For one, there were SEVERAL misspellings in the book, which I feel is unforgiveable. (What proofreader would fail to notice the misspelling of prescription - which was printed as perscription? This isn't exactly the most difficult word in the English language) This gave me the impression that the funds required for a top notch proof reader was not a priority. There was a lack of details in much of the script, making it dull and lifeless at times. Everyone's ... This book was recommended to me by a friend who is a fellow avid reader. There are several disturbing scenes in the book that involve incest, which I felt was going a bit too far and might very well upset someone with a sensitive nature or someone who has been abused in the past. I am next going to read Petals in the Wind, which I purchased at the same time as this book. If I'd known what I do now (after reading Flowers in the Attic) I would have thought twice about buying a second book by this author.

Must Read Classic! Andrews Keeps you Reading.
Always wanted to read this in high school so I’m happy to finally get that chance. Everyone I ever saw read this book - hardly put it down! Great deal on a book this good ! I’m sure I’ll be getting the whole series.

I bought this book for my granddaughter. My Mom bought it and shared with me... I shared with my daughter.... and now our 4th generation is reading the series. Its like clan of the cave bear... the story line stays with you years after the books are forgotten. That my friend is a good book.
