    The disk drives arrived in good condition and in appears to be their original, static resistant plastic pouch and were wrapped with small bubble wrap. But they were not in original cardboard boxes with shock protection holders and desiccant packets. I have not had a chance to test them yet.

    Seems like a good disk for NAS or similar applications

    I bought this to replace an identical, but older drive in a (WD) NAS I've had for years. I slid this into the slot, the software restored the RAID redundant data—I apparently lost no info when the old drive failed—and I was up & running again.

    Don't Bother for Pro Media Storage

    I purchased 6 drives to store and backup HD media for a film. I was very careful in using the SATA port with a special cable, etc, but 4 drives failed in 2 years. I will never buy again.

    Great NAS drives

    For the price, they're great. For soeed, not so much, but they are only 5900rpm drives. Very reliable. Had one go bad, but WD was quick to get a replacement out to me.

    Replacement RAID Drive
