Almost exactly what I needed.
I called up my local Ford dealership's parts department and asked if they had the coolant reservoir cap for an 87 F250 6.9L IDI. The parts were no longer available in Ford's inventory system but they gave me the parts number, D2VY-8K103-A, and I found it here. Well, that part is a press-on cap, and my reservoir has threads, but it still fits on, all be it a bit snugly, which is why I rate it 4 out of 5 stars.I supose the "A" is an alternate, but it seems to work just fine.I called up my local Ford dealership's parts department and asked if they had the coolant reservoir cap for an 87 F250 6.9L IDI.
