Very high quality radio receiver. Travel with a super performer.
This radio is a top notch receiver. Speaker a little lacking in volume, but, through headphones the audio is pleasing. Spectacular sensitivity on AM, Atlanta to St. Louis to Waterloo, IA, and eastern Canada can be heard at night. Has selectivity of a scalpel, just excellent: 720, 760, 780, 670, 650 and 1180 can all be heard here in NYC at night next to the 50 kW locals! Shortwave performance has the same great characteristics. Tuning dial is accurate. Batteries last very reasonably. Nothing but quality, especially for its size.
