This shirt is AWESOME! Exactly as described. It’s so hard to find good band merch that fits a female torso well; do they think we’re all shaped like flagpoles? Crazy! Anyway… Great experience with seller. Absolutely would buy again. Fast shipping, with a reasonable price.

  • Gotta Love The Penguins!

Madagascar is one of the recent crop of animated movies that appeals to adults as well as kids. Admittedly, this is no "Incredibles," but it is still worth renting and watching with the family or friends who enjoy being a "kid" for an hour or two. Although Ben Stiller (Alex the Lion) and Chris Rock (Marty the Zebra) offer up the lion's share (pun intended) of the dialog, the Penguins win my vote for best delivery. The lead penguin's (Skipper) voice is actually done by Tom McGrath, who co-directed the movie with Eric Darnell. The penguin's "Mission Impossible" meets "Get Smart" antics are sure to make you laugh. Speaking of laughter, no review of this movie would be complete without an enthusiastic nod to the single funniest character of the movie, King Julien XIII, the Lemur King. ...

  • Madagascar (2005,DVD)

I bought this DVD to replace ours that was damaged and I needed a specific copy that includes a short film called The Penguins in a Christmas Caper. The film is great - it's a hilarious story about four zoo animals that end up in Madagascar. The penguins play only a supporting role in the main feature, but they are the main characters in the short, and that short could stand on its own. The film is rated PG and geared toward children - my two-year-old and five-year-old LOVE it! However, it's great entertainment - I would recommend it for any age group!

  • Not quite what I expected.

I initially decided to purchase this movie, because I saw the commercial on television, and it looked interesting. But after picking up the movie at a local department store, I was a bit disappointed. While the characters were certainly loveable, some of the dialogue wasn't. Some of the jokes were crude and tasteless; certainly not what you would expect in a movie made primarily for kids. The main problem I have with this film, is that it takes so long to build up. It only gets interesting once the animals get to "the island". It's only then that things really start to take off. Nonetheless, it was a rather fun and likeable movie, despite its minor flaws. The animation and artwork were perfect, and everything else eventually seemed to fall into place. Not bad.

  • Entertaining For the Kids & Adults! A FUN Film For All!

Who Doesn't like a wild and wacky ADVENTURE!! The PENGUINS steal the show. In the sprightly Madagascar, a mid-life crisis inspires Marty the Zebra (voiced by Chris Rock) to escape from his lifelong home, a New York zoo. His equally pampered friends--Alex the Lion (Ben Stiller), Gloria the Hippo (Jada Pinkett Smith), and Melman the Giraffe (David Schwimmer)--then escape to bring him back. Unfortunately, their attempt at damage control persuades zoo officials that the animals are unhappy, so all four get shipped to an animal preserve in Kenya...only a squad of maniacal penguins change the destination to Antarctica. The quartet end up on an island where, in addition to meeting some hedonistic lemurs, they learn about the food chain--and that Alex is a different link on the chain from the ...

  • Madagascar: Great Family Fun!

Madagascar is hilarious; my son was laughing through the entire movie and I enjoyed watching it, too. The animals are at the zoo, treated like stars; being catered to, fed, groomed, they have everything they could possibly need. But Marty the zebra (Chris Rock), is not happy and dreams of being in the wild and running free. So, he makes a run for it and this begins an adventure where they're caged and put on a ship back to Africa. The penguins take over the ship, the four animal friends end up on an island and have to fend for themselves, which doesn't make Alex the lion (Ben Stiller) happy. And he starts to show his true colors because he's without his delicious steaks. King Julian (Sasha Baron Cohen) is hilarious, especially his song, "I like to move it" and Gloria the hippo (Jada ...
