  • A "must-have" for a "Cure" fan looking to find the roots of "Faith"!

A "must-have" as a predecessor to "Three Imaginary Boys". It also most definitely leads you into the darker sound of "Faith" and "Pornography", with what sounds like a musical bridge between "Three Imaginary Boys" and "Faith". • In Your House

The Cure's brilliant goth masterpiece. Honestly, I know I've stated in other reviews how I think this Cure CD or that Cure CD is the best one but I've concluded that Seventeen Seconds is hands down their best! • Dreamy dark early cure album

This one is the model for slowcore, and the mood is unrelenting and very soothing.
