Product Information

Designed for use with Coleco's Super Action Controllers, Rocky Super Action Boxing puts you in the ring for the fight of your life. You can don the gloves of Rocky, the character created by Sylvester Stallone, or you can fight as Clubber Lang, who was played by the flamboyant Mr. T in Rocky III.<br><br>Whichever fighter you choose, you can throw right punches to the head and the body. Your character's left arm is used to block your opponent's attack. Also, you can duck to guard against blows to the head. If Clubber and Rocky get too close to each other, the boxers clinch, and the referee breaks them up.<br><br>As you fight either your computer-controlled opponent or a friend, the game keeps track of how dazed and fatigued the boxers are. Blows to the body increase the fatigue factor, and hits to the head make the boxers dazed and confused. Your goal is to win each round by as many points as you can or knock the other fighter out.<br><br>Rocky Super Action Boxing was named in the March 1984 issue of Electronic Fun Magazine as one of the 50 Best Games.

    great game for an oldschool system

    i used to have this system when i was a young kid, now i have the colecovision system again and still love playing all of the oldschool games. the rocky game is alot of fun. i had to purchase the super action controllers to play it but i still love playing it. my wife and i enjoy playing the rocky boxing game together, and i'm sure my 18 month old daughter will enjoy it when she's old enough to play it. there is nothing i dis like about the colecovision, it is oldschool fun. i decided to purchase it again because i miss playing the older games on colecovision, and i want to have it so my daughter can enjoy it when she's old enough the same way i did when i was a child. i have just about every game system made up to the original xbox, i enjoy playing them. rocky was just a fun game to play ...

    Way back machine!

    Wow, kinda of remembered this game from 83 on colecovision, but when I put it into play the flashbacks of being 13 came back. I remember saying no way graphics could ever get better! Lol, well 36 years later I still stick with the old school games, more thinking not hit xyzz and up. Lol, great game!!

    Rocky for ColecoVision

    i must say when i got this game today it look perfect the labe was in great condition no scuffs or rips in it and i havent tested it yet do own a colecovision yet but when i do i will be sure to fire up this game because i love rocky its one of my all time favorite movies so why not get the games along with it. And in closing i will say im satisfied with it and hope you guys become a rocky fan just like me.
