Was shipped quickly but the shipment did get held up in Indianapolis, no fault of the seller. There was a wrinkle in the bell that was not shown in pictures, I think it resulted from marginal packing and the handling by Fedex. For the price paid I will ignore the damage. I say the packing was marginal because a tuba needs to be packed with something that will transmit shock forces to the throat of the bell and keep those forces away from the rim of the bell. A sturdy, reliable stand
I use this stand as often as possible. It sets up and folds down quickly. I use it mostly for my brass quintet rehearsals, when I’m passing music back and forth a lot, so I just lay the horn in the stand when I need to. Very convenient. It’s made of sturdy materials, and the design is well thought out. I believe the horn is secured well enough in the stand so it won’t come out from it being accidentally bumped into. The carrying bag is kind of cheesy, but it does the job. I use this stand as often as possible. It sets up and folds down quickly. Excellent stand - would recommend
This stand holds the horn well and very securely, better than I expected. It’s built like a tank, so I don’t anticipate any problem with it lasting a long time. A nice way to secure the horn without putting it back in the case every time. Can be used at rehearsal or at home for practice.
