    Neither Grace nor Truth can stand alone

    This small book from Randy Alcorn does an excellent job in explaining the two paths which most christians churches have followed. Either asserting that truth was the crucial element in spreading evangelism or that God's grace was critical in reaching an unchurched population. Alcorn comes down clearly, and with specificity, that both grace and truth need to be 100%. Apologetics (truth) and God's grace must be not simply 50/50 but rather 100%/100%. His analysis is supported with scriptures and makes it clear that without both elements being 100% necessary goals for the Christian church, they will most certainly not be able to carry out it's biblically defined mission as described by Jesus first, and then extensively by Paul.
