Toatally worth the money
Great addition to my kayak. I mostly fish the tidal Potomac because it's 2 miles from my house, which at times can get rough,with these on my kayak paddling the main channel in a lot of wind was actually fun, even with 2 foot rolls breaking on the bow, and install was pretty easy, I had access to inside where I mounted mine (in the front) so I purchased stainless bolts, washers and nylon lock nuts instead of using the included well nuts. I also added "guy wires" to help brace everything in rough water, I just used some paracord, as you can see in the photo.Great addition to my kayak. Makes kayak more stable for a GSD
This works out great for a rig I’ve made on the stern of my kayak so my GSD can enter & exit for swimming! He was originally freaked out by the rocking of the kayak. This now makes it more stable for him. Still rocks a bit this system, which is why I gave only 4 stars. Perhaps larger floats could be added as an option. But This does the job sufficiently.

Great product very well engineered
Great product, makes my old town saranac 146 stable enough for kids. At first I thought the floats were too small but after the first trip I found them to be just right. I’ve read other reviews that state they can’t be adjusted to the same height on each side and that’s what’s what I found when first installed but then I rotated one bracket 180 degrees and re-installed, now they are both the same heightGreat product, makes my old town saranac 146 stable enough for kids.
