    Combination of talent and genius

    The combining of the talents of Robert Louis Stevenson and Tasha Tudor make this edition of these poems a special treat. I remember reading these poems as a child and wondering at the stories Stevenson told in them. Even fifty years ago, they spoke of a world long gone and a boy who, though sickly as a child, went on to travel the earth and experience adventure as an adult and to continue to write about it. They were wonderful. The addition of the lovely soft, dreamlike illustrations of Ms. Tudor just makes it all better. To add to this prize was the performance of my seller. This trade was made easy by a cooperative willing person who made this trade one of the easiest of the 200+ procedures I have done on Ebay. Definitely a satisfying situation all around.

    Tasha Tudor Reigns

    I simply adore Tasha Tudor's childrens books and of course her timeless beautiful illustrations. If you know about Tasha and her own home life and how she lives in these types of country gardens herself you can't help but admire her and be charmed by her vision and art work. This is a small paperback book of hers from the 50's and it is just lovely and not just for a child . I plan to collect her books and enjoy them now and then save for my children as well. Patricia
