3 1/2 starsI'm really loving this. I like bringing the full body into the reflections. Staying in touch with my body during a time when a lot of junk food is in my face is very helpful. As a personal devotional I find this a wonderful book. I rated it 3 1/2 stars because I am disappointed that the reflections don't continue through Epiphany. The Advent cycle is four weeks. I was a little confused by the six-week group study guide provided at the end. I'm not sure the best way to gather six times in the four-week period.* Just my lack of creativity. The final session could take place on the Sunday after New Year's (when Epiphany is celebrated).There is something particularly graceful in the way this book talks about the Incarnation. It gives ways to embody our faith that are simple and meaningful and practical. I am not big on devotionals, but I am glad I gave this one a chance.
