Only two minor nitpicks hence 4 instead of 5 stars.
I like it a lot, the price was excellent. Minor detail I'd like to see improved is in the cold weather the part that makes the grip easier to grab gets really cold compared to the camera. If that could be coated with something that doesn't conduct cold as much, rubberized, etc it would make this a better product. For the money though it's a welcome addition to my A7riii. One more small inconvenience is I can't put it into my arca swiss clamp like my other plates as easily, I have to slide it in because it's slightly larger than any others I use. It's too bad there isn't a more exacting standard on this, my tripod head is made by Acra-Tech, I don't know if it would fit better into a RRS or other brand. In one way it's better because it can't fall out as easily but it takes more time ... I like it a lot, the price was excellent. Initial Review Looks Great
This is a cheap but quality alternative to RRS and even less expensive brands like Kirk. The build seems solid and the adjusting and locking mechanism seems easy and sturdy. Do note that it requires a hex tool to install (built-in) and adjust, and you will have to give it some room when using the Multi port due to Sony’s design of the door in relation to how much room is needed to fully plug in the cable. That’s more of a design flaw on Sony’s part than this bracket. Access to the HDMI and headphone jack is unobstructed. The need for a hex tool in general is a bit cumbersome but i don’t mind. At the same time, a D-ring or similar getting in the way wouldn’t exactly be any less cumbersome. Like the Kirk model you don’t have to relocate the battery door and one can easily access the ... One thing the Kirk model has over both this one and the RRS is the ability to use one bracket with or without the battery grip. At less than half the price of the Kirk and less than 1/3 the price of RRS, this does the job just beautifully. Will update if any issues arise but it doesn’t seem like there will be any. Pretty straightforward, well-priced product.

Best thing for your A73
Thjs L bracket is the best thing you will ever buy for your Sony camera. It's rugged, strong, and built like a tank. It adds that extra grip making your camera extremely comfortable. Definitely recommend.

Sony a7r3 L-bracket Bargain
This L-bracket includes an extended base which is an ideal for pinky finger grip. Great build quality with Arca-Swiss mount and adjustable L arm. The magnetically stored Allen wrench is ideal for removal and installation in the field. A great deal compared to the more expensive name brand version.
