    Great book about environmental history in US.

    Bought this book for my geologist brother getting his PHD from MIT. It was one of many similar books on his Christmas list. I know he was looking forward ro reading it on his next trip! Muir was instumental in preserving wild lands i n America; Inspired and befriended the likes of Teddy Roosevelt and Gifford Pinchot.
