Players can once again shake what their momma gave them with the release of SSX 3, the high-flying snowboarding game that emphasizes speed and aerial stunts above all else. This installment does away with the separate courses found in the first two games and instead features one giant interconnected world filled with different competitions, hidden collectibles, and new elements called Big Challenges. In addition to new courses, characters, and tricks, SSX 3 offers such visual enhancements as character shadows as well as snow that sparkles in the sun and drifts in the wind.<br><br>The trick system allows for unlimited combos as players manipulate their character to perform an assortment of spins, grabs, twists, and flips while trying to earn as many points as possible. Big Challenges offers players over 100 different objectives to complete, whether it's grinding a billboard or making a hand plant on a fence. Like its predecessors, SSX 3 also features an assortment of licensed music from such artists as the X-Ecutioners, Felix Da Housecat, Queens of the Stone Age, N.E.R.D., and more.

This game is so much fun, easy to get into gameplay good graphics and enviornments, and pretty awesome tricks to pull off. It is sometimes hard to pull off tricks when you're about to hit the ground, but it comes with great new feature recovery button helps you learn from your mistakes. It's not the best snowboarding game but it's a definete bust buy

One of the best games ever created. It still holds up.
This is one of the most beautiful games ever created. It places you in a stunning landscape, with amazing lighting and powdery snow, you forget everything around you. Its relaxing, immersive and challenging, yet so well balanced so that it is hardly ever frustrating or annoying. Your heart doesn't have be pumping under stress like in other games. You just want to keep playing. Plus the in game DJ really really rocks. This game nailed it on all levels.This is one of the most beautiful games ever created. Alternate escape!
SSX 3 is, in my opinion, the absolute best that the SSX franchise has to offer, I own four, and SSX 3 is not even the most recent. The graphics are outstanding, the mountain scenery and action are astonishing and beautiful! Without those this would be just another game, but I thoroughly enjoy free-riding the different peak areas, finding alternate paths and new and stunning scenery. Distant peaks are worth stopping just to look at! One of the funnest aspects of this game is being able to pass by the races and keep free-riding! Now, having said that, the game itself is pure fun! The choices you have in characters are diverse in quality and style, even if limited in quantity. The vocal quips and taunts heard from passers-by are fun, the trail racing speeds are exhilarating for all the ... The "artistic bling" and almost manic application of advertising and graffiti of On Tour was overwhelming and seriously detracted and distracted from the potential beauty of the environment. When I go out I like to escape from strident civilization, and I guess I like that in a game also. There are billboards and Honda Elements and such throughout SSX 3 but none of it seems to scream at you like in On Tour. I love being outdoors for the beauty but I buy games for when I can't be outdoors. Both are versions of escapism. SSX 3 is so visually stunning and fun it picks me up even when I'm down with a cold. It's a great alternative to a real escape!

Great Game from 2003, and still amazing!
Loved this game ever since I was a kid, so happy to have this classic back on my shelf! It came very quickly, and was in great condition.
