Good collection of their country hits.
This CD pretty much has all of the Oak Ridge Boys country hits from the mid 1970's onward. Only thing missing is the earlier and later gospel songs that they are so well known for. If you like the Oak Ridge Boys' country years, you'll enjoy this two CD set.

This Oak Ridge Boys compilation is the BEST compilation that you can get for their hits from MCA Records from when they signed onto the label in 1977, until 1987, when Steve Sanders took over William Lee Golden's role in the band (until 1996.) Besides that, you get a couple of leftover tracks from their gospel period from their years at Columbia Records. Some hits added here that weren't on their first two greatest hits packages are 'So Fine' and 'I Wish I Could Have Turned My Head...' from 'Bobbie Sue', 'When You Get To The Heart' from Barbara Mandrell's 1985 release 'Get To The Heart', 'Juliet', and 'You Made A Rock Of A Rolling Stone' from 'Seasons', and Steve's first hit with the group 'Time In' from 'Heartbeat.' The only bad thing about this release is that it has the short version ... Great job Univeral Music - this one is a keeper!

I love every song!
I bought The Oak Ridge Boys Gold 2CD set because I wanted to have their hits together in one package. This has happened for the most part with this cd set. The only thing that I don't like, is that it stops with the hit "True Heart". There were other hits like "No Matter How High" that were not included. But all in all, I would recommend to any Oak Ridge Boys fan, to buy this product.
