    The Christmas Pearl

    This book was truly written Dorothea Benton Frank style, it was full of humor and gullah magic. Her books always have some life experiences in them that most of us can relate to, this one is no exception. It's about an elderly womans discontent with her families lack of true Christmas spirit and respect for one another. An old friend and nanny, Pearl, from her past comes back from the beyond to use a little gullah magic,along with some other supernatural help, to get the whole family back on track. A good Christmas story and one of the best of Frank's books.

    I never got it

    I never got the book, which was disappointing (from ebay), I ordered it for a book club read. One of the other member let me borrow hers, the book was okey, if you're in the mood for a far fetched Christmas story (like the kind you would like to have really happen) this book is great, it was a short, fun read.
