Dalhmer Continues to Con to the Day He Dies
I am a mental health professional and bought this book, which was written by a minister who "converted" Jeff Dahmer in prison and became "friends" with him, mostly out of curosity to see what this minister had to say about the "conversion" of this socio-path to Christianity after his arrest for his infamous crimes of violence. The book was easily readable, and written in an amature style from the prospective of the minister. He told how Dahmer had requested baptism, and how he in particular had been chosen for this role. The minister was obviously convinced of Dahmer's sincerity of belief in Christianity, and his intense study of the Bible, etc. However, as a mental health professional, I was probably more leary of accepting the sincerity of a person who was clearly socio-pathic. ... I am a mental health professional and bought this book, which was written by a minister who "converted" Jeff Dahmer in prison and became "friends" with him, mostly out of curosity to see what this minister had to say about the "conversion" of this socio-path to Christianity after his arrest for his infamous crimes of violence. The book was easily readable, and written in an amature style from the prospective of the minister. He told how Dahmer had requested baptism, and how he in particular had been chosen for this role. The minister was obviously convinced of Dahmer's sincerity of belief in Christianity, and his intense study of the Bible, etc. However, as a mental health professional, I was probably more leary of accepting the sincerity of a person who was clearly socio-pathic. (Without conscience and connection to other humans except as objects.) The background of Dahmer, of family abandonment, and family disfunction, along with his first killing at age 15, and subsequent killings and violence over about a ten year period, are typical of a socio-path who, unable to feel "normal" emotions, learns to "fake" them and gets great satisfaction out of "conning" others and manipulating them. The minister also mentioned finding out after Dahmer's death that Dahmer had been writing to multiple women and engaging them in the belief that he was "in love with, and intended to marry" these women. Apparently none of the women knew about the others, and some were so shocked and destraught upon finding out that there were others that they needed counseling for grief at their "loss" when Jeff was killed in prison. Not being mental health professionals, the minister, along with the women were apparently the last victims of the ultimate con game of the socio-path. Though my assessment of the sincerity of belief of Dahmer is quite different from the author's, it was an interesting book just from that point of view.

Disturbing content, amazing miracle!
I found the content of this book very disturbing in that the details of the acts this man perpertrated were so in human that no human being could ever imagine. However, in the latter section of the book , he, after much counseling of the author, he confessed to God, and repented of his sins, and requested to be baptized in the name or the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and was saved, and forgiven of the Lord Jesus Christ, of his sins, and was born again, to become a Child of God! This made this book a rewarding experience for me, as a born-again Child of God, to realize that God, truly does love us all, and is willing to forgive all our sins, if we believe, and repent, and confess our sins to our Father God, we will be saved!I found the content of this book very disturbing in that the details of the acts this man perpertrated were so in human that no human being could ever imagine.
