About this product

Product Information

Life is reasonably rosy for plus-size ex-pop star turned Assistant Dormitory Director and sometime sleuth Heather Wells. Her freeloading ex-con dad is finally moving out. She still yearns for her hot landlord, Cooper Cartwright, but her relationship with "rebound beau," vigorous vegan math professor Tad Tocco, is more than satisfactory. Best of all, nobody has died lately in "Death Dorm," the aptly nicknamed student residence that Heather assistant-directs. Of course every silver lining ultimately has some black cloud attached. And when the latest murdered corpse to clutter up her jurisdiction turns out to be her exceedingly unlovable boss, Heather finds herself on the shortlist of prime suspects--along with the rabble-rousing boyfriend of her high-strung student assistant and an indecently handsome young campus minister who's been accused of taking liberties with certain girls' choir members. With fame beckoning her back into show business (as the star of a new kids' show!) it's a really bad time to get wrapped up in another homicide. Plus Tad's been working himself up to ask her a Big Question, which Heather's not sure she has an answer for . . .

  • Absolutely Hilarious!

I give this book a big five. A continuation of a series about ex-pop star Heather Wells who is currently attending a New York University and acting as assistant to the Residence Hall Directer of the "Death Dorm" while zooming her hot remedial math professor. Of course this being the "Death Dorm" it's not long before Heather discovers a body, this time her not much beloved boss Owen. Heather tries not to get involved but a hilarious set of circumstances propel her directly into the path of the real killer while sending her into the arms of true love. You'll find this book warm, funny and heartwarming as well as filled with suspense and chills and thrills. Love abounds in 'Big Boned'. I loved this book becasue the heroine is not some skinny little nothing but a real sized woman!

  • Big Boned

I thought parts of this book were hysterically funny. Meg Cabot has done a deadly job of lampooning the "trust exercise" in faculty meetings. She also hit on "buzz word bingo." The mystery was interesting and this book was a satisfying end to the romance built in the first two books.

  • Big Boned

This is the third installment in Meg Cabot's Heather Well's mystery series. Yet again Meg has you laughing, crying, and going EWWWWWW! I would rec. that you read the books in order 1)Size 12 is Not Fat 2) Size 14 is Not Fat Either. You will be seriously entertained with this series.

  • Big Boned by Meg Cabot

It was shorter than the previous 2 and didn't quite entertain me as much either. I did enjoy seeing it all come together and end the series. I mean how many times can she be involved in murder plots

  • Big Boned

I like the dialogue because it's very normal, what regular people say.Heather is likeable, but the characters around her remind me of the ren from Agatha Christie's"And then there were None."
