Handy lens stretcher for both Nikon film/digital cameras
When you need that little bit of reach and not sacrifice the quality of the Nikkor lens its attached to this little piece of glass is your answer. With just one f-stop sacrifice ( use either a higher ASA film or increase the ASA setting on your digital camera....oh did I forget to tell you this film era converter is usable on some Nikon Digital cameras.... with restrictions but usable. Credit Nikon for designing their digital cameras compatible with some ( if not most ) of their film era equipment. You just have to manual focus and set your camera mode to M or A and you set to go. Simple and functional
I am using this item with a Nikon 500mm reflex lens, manual focus and fixed aperture, so for me this is ideal. Image is excellent, better that I expected, I am happy with this product. The converter came with a case to protect it in the bag and the glass is blemish free, perfect!

Nikon Tele extender
I put this Nikon TC-14A Tele-Extender on my Nikon D800 with a 300mm Nikkor lens which gives me about a 420mm lens. All of the functions of the 300mm remain like automatically stopping down upon actuating the shutter. I can see no difference between the sharpness of the 300 alone or with the tele extender. I have a 500mm Nikkor Mirror lens but the combination of the 300 with the tele extender is far more versatile. The mirror lens is a fixed f8 and is very easy to shoot out of focus due to the very limited depth of field.
