Item was as described. Actually it was near NEW. Used an Unifi DAC cable work but AOC transceivers do not they have to be Intel. Purchased two INTEL transceivers and card worked immediately. Because this card is so finicky with AOC transceivers,... it's ABSOLUTELY a GENUINE Intel card. Ended up purchasing another for my NAS
