A rare classic comedy, Aykroyd and Belushi at their best!
Dan Aykroyd and his beloved friend John Belushi at their best. Being a huge fan of A-B and this movie forever, I can tell you how impossible it was to find a copy of it on DVD. Now, it is FINALLY available and ready to add to your top-drawer collection as one of the funniest movies you will ever see. Suspense, intrigue, dark humour and slapstick all rolled into one big enjoyable ride. Originally Aykroyd was slated for the straight-man spot, but when they switched roles this became a masterpiece. Fun, funny, intelligent and a classic for all time. Cant say enough about this long awaited arrival to my collection! Thanks Dan!Dan Aykroyd and his beloved friend John Belushi at their best. This movie is nonstop hilarity from start to finish. Earl Keese (John Belushi) and his wife, Enid (kathryn Walker) are a pretty dull and straight-laced couple living in the suburbs until Vic (Dan Aykroyd), and his wife Ramona move in next door. Vic is Mr. Cool, with his bleached blond hair and open collar leisure suits, and Ramona is hot-to-trot, immediately coming on to Earl. Absolutely rebuffed by the pair, the Keese' don't quite know what to do. These super spontaneous people right next door, and they are pushy! They are so wild, and nutty that they eventually take over the Keese' lives. Eventually, the Keese' become seduced to the dark side and begin to embrace the new neighbors lifestyles.This movie is nonstop hilarity from start to finish. Great comedy done right by the SNL alums
I am never a true fan of Belushi and Aykroyd. One day, I just flipped channel to find something to get rid of my boredom, this show just started. I thought "What the heck, lets give it five minutes to see how bad it will be." Next thing I know, it dragged me for another 30 minutes, then 45 minutes, then the whole show was done. It is freaking funny and has lots of humors all over the story. All casts did great job, especially these SNL alums. Then I saw the credit that the guy who directed the Karate Kid movies is the director of it, what a nice surprise.I am never a true fan of Belushi and Aykroyd. Awesome movie
love the movie,maybe one day it will be on blue ray that will be a better quality but until then just enjoy the comedy.
