  • Yummy, easy-to-prepare Japanese comfort food

    Although I have only tried about 8 recipes from this book so far, my husband and I have enjoyed each of them. I like the glossary of ingredients and the menu suggestions provided at the beginning of the book. The latter are listed according to the season. The author also gives an explanation with a bit of history for many of the dishes. Many of the dishes are quick and easy to prepare, require few ingredients that can be found at a well-stocked grocery store, yet they are very tasty and healthful.
