Ong Bak Series
I have all three of the Ong Bak series. I bought 3 at a Video Store that was closing. I like 3 as best of the series. I would say 2 is the best produced and story line. I think most like the original. I watch that in Thai, so maybe I missed out of details. Still good though. 3 does gets more Mystical than the others. I do think the 2 and 3 are tied to the original, through the Buda head. I think most reviews dismiss this and the only link is that there are elephants. Ong bak 1...the original was not to spectacular...i admit that...but the heat was turned up in parts 2 and 3..Aptly sub titled "the beginning"...they far out weigh in technique, plot and special effects. The only down fall is they are sub-titled(some dubbed...but in my opinion...you do not get the full effect of whats being said in the sub-titled). I believe you get as much excitement from Tony Yaa as you would expect from internation sensations such as Donnie Yen (IP Man 1 and 2 as well as others). Part 2...the beginning is really the starting point as to how the trilogy begins with part 3 finishing up that point. Awesome Movie!
Love this movie! watched it a while back i love everything about Tony Jaa's movies he is the new jackie chan, Jet Li ect. and i think he does alot of his own stunts! and his martial arts is one of the best so far! i would really love to see him make a movie with Jackie Chan or Jet Li! but this movie is awesome you gotta pay attention to this movie in order to get what the plot is or you will get lost!Love this movie! watched it a while back i love everything about Tony Jaa's movies he is the new jackie chan, Jet Li ect. and i think he does alot of his own stunts! and his martial arts is one of the best so far! i would really love to see him make a movie with Jackie Chan or Jet Li! but this movie is awesome you gotta pay attention to this movie in order to get what the plot is or you will get lost!

THIS HAS A NAME THAT MAKES IT SOUND LIKE IT IS A SEQUEL BUT DON'T LET IT FOOL YOU IT IS NOT A SEQUEL BOTH MOVIES HAVE VERY LITTLE IN COMMON EXCEPT YOU GET TO SEE THE ELEPHANT ONCE IN THE SECOND MOVIE BUT STILL IN ALL IT IS A GOOD MARTIAL ARTS MOVIE
