    The Measure of a Man by Sidney Poitier

    Love his candidness. Can't play some of it with the children around. His story is unique and a real "American"/Immigrant success story. Anything is possible but it does help to be in the right place at the right time, however his will helped keep him a cut above. I would love to meet him and absolutely love how his voice sounds.

    The Measure of a Man

    Mr Poitier is and has always been a class act individual to me, and after listening to him telling his story to the world as to how he came to become and actor, my admiration for who he is and what he stands for, his values and respect for his family, has increased very much. This book is entertaining and enlightening at the same. Top 5!

    The title is the whole book in a phrase.

    Ihave enjoyed Sidney Poitier since I saw him in "Lilies of the Field' & 'Guess Who's Coming to Dinner. The audio version is a great enjoyable way to hear his book. A plus is getting to hear him read his book. I love his voice.
