Into an Abyss of Pure Evil...The Midnight Meat Train
Prominent art gallerist Susan Hoff, propels Leon Kaufman to get grittier and show the darker side of humanity for his upcoming debut at her downtown art space. Believing he's finally on track for success, Leon's obsessive pursuit of dark subject matter leads him into the path of a serial killer, Mahogany, the subway murderer who stalks late-night commuters--ultimately butchering them in the most gruesome ways imaginable. I saw this on TV and thought my brother would like it. He works all different hours for work and always missed it on TV. Excellent Movie... Make you think twice about subways..
This movie when I first seen the previews was on my "wanted" top of my list. I found it here on Ebay at a fairly low price and decided to buy it instead of renting it. It turned out to be actually a great movie. It's all based on a guy who is a photographer and he just doesn't have it to get too the next level. In order for him to get to that level, he has to get more creative or "ballsy" with his picture taking. He ends up taking pictures around the subways late at night, and eventually takes pictures of a strange guy. He follows the guy around town to where he works, and actually lives and by doing this it actually takes effect on his life as well. He follows the guy and takes pictures and eventually on the subway, he photographs pictures of ... This movie when I first seen the previews was on my "wanted" top of my list. Watch this movie with a girlfriend..lol..very scary!!
I liked how the movie was dark and had a twist at the end that you would not have ever expected. I had seen the main actor on a late night show and he was being asked about the movie. He plays a great killer and fills the role perfectly. Its not your ordinary psycho killer movie....there's a meaning to all the killing. Very scary, good date movie..lol...she will be keeping her eyes closed often...keep the lights down and the surround sound turned up!!!....I liked how the movie was dark and had a twist at the end that you would not have ever expected.
