Almost more than I EVER wanted to know!!!!!

Astonishing, perfectly cast. Shows audiences very different facets of human behavior. Sinatra turns in an understated, subtle performance. Angela Lansbury is the scariest thing I've ever seen in a film. She AIN"T no Jessica Fletcher here!

  • great script, very good acting

has all the elements of a post wwII military thriller, and we even see 'wo fat' in a role he plays very well.

A simply stunning film! Deep psychological warfare at hidden levels of government. So worth watching and still relevant today.

  • This is the original Manchurian Candidate

The new movie is not nearly as good as this original. Spooky. It is right up there with Dr. Strangelove and other great 60s post-nuke movies and books.

  • Manchurian Candidate is AWESOME!

This is not the Angela Lansbury you remember from Murder She Wrote or Beauty and the Beast. She is deliciously evil in this film! Can't say I'm a fan of Frank Sinatra in general, but you can hardly tell it's him in this film. It's tragic, chilling, daring, frightening, macabre and HYPNOTIC! You cannot take your eyes off this film. It's got conspiracy, political intrigue, murder and brain washing. One of the best film noir movies I've ever seen & I'm thrilled to finally have it in my DVD collection.
