    Amazing image quality

Im using this lens on my Sony A7 and although it has no image stabilization or auto focus its a great lens to have fun with. The Bokeh on portraits is very good and so much fun for street photography as well because you can capture candid moments from afar with out the subjects noticing you too much. i like that it blends in well with the sony body as well.

  • Even works well on digital camera,

The best clear lens top of the line for canon. I used a non-Canon lens for years and found this to be clear and sharp. It's a bit on the heavy side due to its metal construction but very well made. As with all zoom micro lenses there is that annoying transition spot between zoom and micro where the lens jumps in focus. As with all things mechanical, when the lens is changing focusing rings to adjust for close up micro, you are going to see and feel that transition cam working. Now I used it Canon 600D EOS T3i using a FD to EOS adaptor mounting ring. The pictures came out clear. The corners were bright and sharp. You have to manually adjust your aperture when mounting this on a digital camera body. Perfect for time lapse photography in situations when you need to lock your aperture

  • Easy to use lense for older SLR film cameras (beginner)

This is a good low price lense for someone getting into photography with an older FD mount SLR Canon film camera. The lense is very simple and easy to use. It manually focuses throughout its zoom range with ease and takes great photos, a use of a tripod is recommended if the lense is fully extended. Overall it is a fun and budget friendly camera accessory.

  • Canon Zoom Telephoto 70-210mm f.4 FD Lens

I am a professional photographer who still uses film. I have had an old Canon F1 for years. Canon stopped making these lense a long time ago and I needed one to be able to use the camera in the fashion I wanted to. The only option was to buy used. I was glad to find one on Ebay and purchased it right away even though the lens is not the speed I would like it to be. I would have prefered an F2.8 but they are still difficult to come by and quite expensive. the lens is in excellent condition and I am happy to have it. It will serve me well for years to come.

  • Older Canon FD 70-210mm f.4 lens

This is a great lens by Canon for the A1, AE1 line of cameras using the FD mount. I still like the A1 Camera for it's low power consumption and great photos (non digital)on film format. This lens is fast to adjust and makes shooting fun. No need to wait for your digital unit to zoom or auto focus. Don't get me wrong, I love my digital camera. For mid range telephoto shooting this is a great choice.
